idea: can armor be specific to an account instead of a character?
Here's what I'm thinking...if A-net only gives us 1 new slot, that slot is going to go towards an assassin or ritualist. then, if we want to go pve with any of our other characters to check out the map, most people will just use their old characters, meaning we see a lot of level 20s at even the easy areas. I would be more than willing to trash my elementalist, and start over and play the game with a brand new elementalist, except for one thing: the armor. i'd rather not lose the 75k that i spent on armor, since we can only use it on that character. what would be better is to be able to save that armor for another character in our account, and put a level limit on it, say that we can't wear that armor unless we're level 15+, and once we reach that level 15, we can put it on our new character...make sense?

This goes in the sardelacs sanetarium forum.
And no, it shouldn't be account specific. Then we'd be able to make PvP characters that have drok's armor and give them to our newbies =.=

Well, thats the problem every time isn't it? the pvp balancing. But for pve this is a great idea! I support it!

As Loviatar said, armor is a major gold sink...no need to make it lvl15+...stay with pre-searing collectors armor until you reach MAJOR towns (if you want to buy armor) or take collectors armor (allways better than crafter).

i reckon you should be able to resell your armour back to the armour crafter like how you can sell dyes/materials to the merchants but you lose all your runes.

Well if you got a char in fissure armour and wanted to make changes to its appearence then it would be great, but as others have mentioned its flawed, but it would cut out drok running which is another plus.
